NOAA-20 will perform a 3.0 second propulsive Risk Mitigation Maneuver (RMM) to avoid an orbital debris close approach.

The following observatory systems will be affected on June 17, 2025:

17:57:30Z – 19:00:40Z CERES in Contam-Safe mode, science data will not be available

18:07:00Z – 18:33:10Z OMPS in Decon mode, Science data will not be available

18:12:00Z - 17:12:24Z HRD will be off, data for direct broadcast users will be unavailable

18:17:00Z – 18:23:03Z N20 in Control Frame 2 (DMU) (Delta-V Control Frame)

18:17:00Z – 18:30:10Z N20 pointing off-nadir, collected data during that time period 
may be impacted and not disseminated
